Rodrigo Santelices

Rodrigo has successfully represented hundreds of clients in varied forums throughout the city. He graduated from Flinders University Law School, South Australia in 2005, and was admitted to practice law in New York in 2007.

Twice an immigrant - first from Chile to Australia as an early teen, and then from Australia to the United States as a young lawyer - Rodrigo brings his personal experience and cultural fluency to his legal practice. He consistently approaches his clients with empathy, respect and sensitivity, always mindful that the path to a resolution begins by understanding his client’s experience of the dispute. Similarly, Rodrigo has built strong working relationships with adversaries and judges, earning their respect for his professionalism and ethical values.

Beyond his legal practice, Rodrigo (a father of four) is busy making sure his youngest children attend choir, play their violins and practice their Spanish. When away from Court, he enjoys volunteering as a cook and dreaming of driving cattle across the American Plains.
